Yokoo senior studied guitar making under the famous Masaru Kohno in 1964. Three years later Shunsuke established his own workshop - the Yokoo Guitar Studio. Sadly, Shunsuke passed away in January 2023. Masato is in charge of the worksop today.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEach of the Yokoo guitars are extremely well built and deliver excellent tone. They can easily put to shame any instrument in the the $3000-$6000 range made by bigger names. This No 30 is not an exception.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe tone of this guitar is amazing. Very well balanced highs and lows with powerful midrange and prominent high end.
