A gorgeous, all original Epiphone Les Paul.
Made in Japan in 2000
Notice the Gibson open book headstock and Gibson truss rod cover, these models were never imported to the USA and are very high quality.
Those are rare since they had only been made for domestic market in Japan. This one looks like a one of kind, I haven't seen one with a top like that.
BTW, Epiphone guitars are no longer made there, recent models are made in China/Korea.
I own several of Japanese ones as well as Gibsons, I honestly cannot tell the difference except that these usually are finished better! This one was a one owner, babied, played very little.
I'd say the neck profile is 60's.
If you cant afford a $3000 dollar Gibson USA, these Japanese Les Pauls will get you 99% of the way there.
