Giannini AWN C1 Classical Guitar Spruce Top, BRW Back and Sides, Brazil 1970s (642 mm Scale)
Giannini AWN C1 Classical Guitar Spruce Top, BRW Back and Sides, Brazil 1970s (642 mm Scale)
A rare, stunning Giannini Classical Guitar built in Brazil in the 1970s
Back and sides are Brazilian Jacaranda (Harvesting banned since 1976).
Beautiful grain all around but the BRW back is just amazing. Great craftsmanship for the time with slightly exaggerated headstock. The neck is not very thick comfortable to play. The shorter scale makes it even better if you have a smaller hand but still want to be able to nail those stretch chords.
I haven't seen any other of this model available which makes it a one of a kind collectible item.
Plays and sounds great, bold, powerful tone with lots of character.
Has some minor dings and scratches here and there but nothing crazy, considering it's over 50 years old.
It's a true gem for any collector or a classical guitar enthusiast.
