This is a gem that's getting harder to find and will only go up in value over the years.
This ES-175 has a handsome sunburst body, with a figured maple top and mahogany back, sides and neck. One of the rarest and most lightweight versions of the model, this combination was only produced between 1983 and 1990.
This example is in fantastic condition, free from cracks, major dings etc. Only very minor signs of use that are visible up close which puts in into 90% or excellent condition category.
Medium jumbo frets with minimal play wear. The 24 3/4" scale, the fingerboard is effortless to play.
The Humbuckers sound fat and sweet in it, the 16" body is easy to cradle and highly resistant to feedback. New ES-175 list at around $5000 if available.
A great instrument in a distinguished lineage that spans half a century of outstanding Gibson craftsmanship.
