A beautifully sounding and playing Jose Ramirez 2NE handmade in Spain in 2013

For over half a century, the name of Jose Ramirez is perhaps the most recognized to classical and flamenco guitar aficionados. Ramirez instruments have been performed on by countless professionals from Sting to Segovia, Chet Atkins to Sabicas and Lee Ritenour to Christopher Parkening.

Built to the highest standards of Spanish construction, the guitars in the Estudio line are an affordable alternative to the Artisan guitars line. Without the cypress lined back and sides, these guitars are an adaptation of the traditional Ramirez designs.

They are known to be lightweight and quick to respond. This particular guitar sounds beautiful and is one of our favorites. It's can make most high-end guitars shy.

Designed with a unique template, decorations, tone, quality of sound and materials that are synonymous with the Ramirez brand. The 2NE features a solid red cedar top, Indian rosewood back and sides, and an ebony fingerboard.

The NE line is the new and improved "E" line, which was designed by Jose Ramirez III in 1986. Amalia Ramirez created the NE line in 2008 by updating the pattern on the "E" line's rosettes, purflings and tie blocks. When it comes to the basic construction of these guitars, Amalia stayed true to her father's original designs. These guitars are slightly lighter in weight, but the NE guitars still sing with the same beautiful, rich tones that are characteristic of Jose Ramirez guitars.

Condition

The guitar is in excellent, near mint condition. There are very few light imperfections, noticeable only when looking very closely. Whatever white spots you see on the pictures are just reflections. There is no visible fretwear. Very comfortable and easy to play. Set up for medium low action, great for flamenco and fast passages.

We keep our guitars in a room with 50% relative humidity.
