A gorgeous Juan Hernandez Estudio 2012 hand-built at Hernandez family workshop with tight grain Red Cedar top, solid Mango back and Indian Rosewood sides.

It's one of the best sounding guitars that we've had in years of trade.

Juan Hernandez delivers incredible quality for the money.

All of Hernandez models are built with solid wood.

The Estudio Classic series from Spanish guitar maker Juan Hernandez offers an affordable version of his renowned concert guitars. This instrument delivers a powerful, well-defined sound, thanks to its fully solid 4/4 construction, which features a warm cedar top and a finely-grained mango body. The water-thin finish allows for better responsiveness, with a particularly clear midrange and rich low end.

The flat mahogany neck with an ebony fingerboard provides plenty of space for players to comfortably master even complex pieces. The guitar's 650 mm scale length and 50 mm nut width make playing easier. The guitar is set up very well and intonates nicely across the entire range, thanks to the excellent craftsmanship of the nut and saddle. Finally, the high-gloss finish beautifully showcases the grain of the woods used.

Condition

The guitar is in excellent showroom condition. There are a few light imperfections, noticeable only when looking closely. The cloudy spots on the sides, especially the bottom of the lower bout are not from damage. It's the finish itself, which remains smooth and clean. In regular lighting, these features are less pronounced than they appear in the pictures taken with a powerful flash. This is a common issue with poly finish for some reason. The finish is stable now and this process is not expected to continue. The bright white strips that you might see on some pictures are just reflections.

There is no visible fretwear. Very comfortable neck. Set up for low action, great for flamenco and fast playing.

We keep our guitars in a room with 45% relative humidity.
