Masami Otani One-of-a-kind Handmade Classical Guitar Japan 1998 All Solid Woods
Masami Otani One-of-a-kind Handmade Classical Guitar Japan 1998 All Solid Woods
A One-of-a-kind build by a very talented luthier Masami Otani. It was built for Koichi Nozaki who had a guitar workshop and luthier school in Osaka. Very light weight. The tone is resonant and bold with lots of beautiful overtones. Narrower neck feels super comfortable and easy to play. An absolute gem.
Condition
The guitar remains in excellent condition. There are a few superficial signs of use but nothing major. The guitar is finished with lacquer and some areas of the body appear faded, especially on the upper bout on the back and lower bout front edge. There are some fingernail marks on the ebony fretboard. There is a little fret wear, barely visible. The bright white spots that you might see on some of the photos are just reflections.
We keep our guitars in a room with 50% relative humidity.
