Masaru Kohno Concert Classical guitar from 1989. Masaru Kohno is renowned as one of Japan's best classical luthiers. He apprenticed at Archangel Fernandez's shop in Spain and eventually won a gold medal at at the Elizabeth’s Concourse International Guitar Building Competition in Belgium in 1967, which brought him worldwide recognition. The list of players having recorded and performed on Masaru Kohno’s guitar is substantial, and to name a few, Julian Bream, Oscar Gighlia, and Sharon Isbin. This example is extremely clean and has an incredible voice that's sure to be tops in your collection. All Solid wood construction with a Spruce top, Indian Rosewood sides and back, a Mahogany neck, and an Ebony fretboard.
Condition
The guitar is in excellent showroom condition. It has superficial marks of use in different places, such as light dings and scuffs, but nothing crazy. Please refer to the pictures. Guitar players have different styles and features, so it might need to be set up according to your preferences.
The guitar has been kept in a room with humidity set to 45% at 25 degrees (75F).
The neck is straight, action is medium low, comfortable to play.
